Federal Minister Syed Mustafa Kamal Emphasizes Health and Industry Alliance During Visit to FPCCI

Karachi – July 2025:
In a strategic move to strengthen Pakistan’s healthcare system through private sector engagement, Federal Minister for Health, Syed Mustafa Kamal, visited the Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce & Industry (FPCCI) and held key discussions with FPCCI President Atif Ikram Sheikh and leading members of the business community.

During the meeting, the Minister highlighted the importance of public-private partnerships in improving healthcare outcomes across Pakistan. He encouraged the business sector to actively invest in areas such as hospital infrastructure, telemedicine, digital health, medical technology, and pharmaceutical regulation.

“For a prosperous Pakistan, the alliance between health and industry is not optional — it is essential,” said Syed Mustafa Kamal. “We invite the private sector to step forward as partners in national development.”

The FPCCI leadership appreciated the Minister’s proactive approach and expressed interest in collaborative ventures including healthcare financing, insurance models, and setting up specialized treatment centers.
