PFUJ President Praises Federal Health Minister Mustafa Kamal for Transformative Reforms in Health Ministry
President of the Pakistan Federal Union of Journalists (PFUJ), Sharjeel Amjad Rao, held a special meeting with Federal Minister for National Health Services Syed Mustafa Kamal at his Islamabad office, where he praised the minister’s swift and impactful reforms in the national health sector.
Sharjeel Amjad Rao highlighted that in a short span of time, Mustafa Kamal has initiated revolutionary changes that are reshaping Pakistan's healthcare landscape. He particularly commended the digital transformation of the outdated Drug Regulatory Authority of Pakistan (DRAP) system, calling it a milestone achievement.
“Your work in digitalizing DRAP is not just commendable — it’s a breakthrough. The credit you deserve for modernizing a stagnant system is immense,” said the PFUJ President.
Federal Minister Mustafa Kamal humbly acknowledged the praise and responded:
“Insha’Allah, even more transformative steps are on the way for the Ministry of Health. Our aim is a fully digitized, transparent, and efficient health ecosystem.”
The PFUJ President also reflected on Mustafa Kamal’s past leadership, noting his tenure as Mayor of Karachi, where he launched massive urban development projects. He expressed hope and confidence that the same visionary and reformist approach will continue in the Ministry of Health.
