🇵🇰🇮🇷 Pakistan–Iran Relations: High-Level Event Highlights Industrial and Trade Cooperation

Chairman of the Standing Committee on Industries and Production and Member of the National Assembly Syed Hafeezuddin hosted a distinguished reception in honor of a high-level delegation from the Islamic Republic of Iran.

The Iranian delegation included Deputy Minister for Industry, Mines and Trade and Chairman of IDRO, Mr. Farshad Moqimi, Advisor to the Minister for Mines, Trade and Industry (International Affairs), Mr. Hamed Asafi, and Mr. Hassan Asafi.

The event was attended by Federal Minister for National Health Services Syed Mustafa Kamal, Federal Minister for Investment Qaiser Ahmed Sheikh, Consul General of Ethiopia Ibrahim Tawab, and senior leader of MQM Pakistan, Anis Ahmed Qaimkhani.

Prominent members of Pakistan’s business community were also present, including Zubair Motiwala, Khalid Tawab, President SITE Association Ahmer Alvi, FPCCI’s Asif Sakhi, and Aman Pracha, along with Members of the National Assembly, Sindh Assembly, and other key stakeholders.

During the gathering, participants emphasized the importance of strengthening bilateral cooperation between Pakistan and Iran in the fields of industry, mining, trade, and investment. The discussions highlighted opportunities for collaboration, joint ventures, and sustainable economic partnerships between the two countries.
