As part of the nationwide Independence Day celebrations, MQM Pakistan’s Mirpurkhas Pol A (UC 2-B) organized a spirited event featuring a national flag hoisting ceremony and a cake cutting ritual, bringing together passionate members and leaders in a vibrant show of patriotism.

The event was graced by the presence of Sindh Tanzeemi Committee Member and Haqparast Chairman Mr. Shafiq Ahmed, District Incharge Mr. Khalid Tabsum, Joint District Incharge Mehmood Abbasi, along with senior leaders Adeel Khizar, Ikhlas Ahmed, and Faheem Abbas.

Also present were UC Chairman Shafiq Ahmed, Vice Chairman Aftab Ahmed, UC Incharges, respected councillors, and dozens of dedicated MQM workers and supporters from the area.

The ceremony began with the hoisting of the national flag, followed by a patriotic cake cutting, symbolizing the party’s unwavering commitment to Pakistan’s integrity and democratic values.

“The green flag represents our unity and resilience as a nation. MQM continues to stand by the people, celebrating their pride and working for their progress,” said one of the speakers.

This local celebration served not only as a moment of national pride, but also reaffirmed MQM’s grassroots presence, organizational strength, and ongoing connection with the community.
